IMPERIAL GRACE

IMPERIAL GRACE

Imperial jewellery was the most delicate part of imperial costume. The most frequently used precious gems like pearl, jadeite, tourmaline, coral, ruby, sapphire and so forth, were set in gold and silver. There were many styles of jewellery, such as hair decorations, hairpins, bangles, bracelets, ring and earrings. The imperial jeweller would use gold for the settings to show off gold’s natural texture. Each piece of imperial jewellery was the fruit of the painstaking expertise of the Emperor’s craftsmen.

The Imperial Grace earrings are the new interpretations of earrings worn by the imperial families in the Qing Dynasty. The 18K gold finish has a special treatment to give them an antique looking, while the shape of the hook echoes the style used during that period. Every item of YEWN’s Imperial Grace collection is limited edition.
